Cook Islands Botanical Gardens
When visiting cities of the world you will always find the local Botanical Gardens. Well even on the small island of Rarotonga we can boast seven acres of magnificent tropical gardens. With lush cooling lilly ponds and spectacular mountain views, Marie Nui Gardens is the place to relax, smell the tropical aromas and just chill out to the soft sound of nature.
The Marie Nui Gardens is a non profit project with all its proceeds reinvested into its ongoing development. Volunteers from all over the world have contributed to this development.
Situated on the grounds is the Marie Nui café. This traditional style café features a thatched roof and a spacious open dining area. It is the ideal place to escape to for that perfect breakfast or lunch. Organic salads, olive bread, cakes and muffins are freshly made each day. And they have the best cheesecake this side of Paris. All this accompanied by award winning wines and fresh local expresso coffee.
Bookings for the Rarotonga Cook Islands Botanical Gardens can be made through the Sea Change office.
